Brealant Limited · Effective date: 18 October 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of brealant.com (the "Website"), including Hal, our AI. By using the Website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you buy a service from us, our Terms of Service also apply. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
The Website is owned and operated by Brealant Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong, China ("Brealant", "we", "us"), registered office Unit 9D, 36 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
Brealant is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Brealant is an intellectual property services company. We prepare and file trade mark, patent, design and copyright applications and manage them with the government offices. We do not advise you on your legal rights, remedies or options, do not interpret the law for your situation, and do not represent you in court. Where the law of a country requires a registered local agent or attorney, Brealant engages one on your behalf; that person acts as your filing representative before the office, not as your general legal adviser.
No lawyer–client relationship. Using the Website, asking Hal a question, sending us an enquiry or buying a service does not create a lawyer–client relationship between you and Brealant, and communications with us are not privileged. If you need legal advice about your situation, consult a lawyer qualified in the relevant country.
The Website describes intellectual property procedures, fees and timelines in many countries. We take care to keep it accurate and current, but laws, fees and office practice change, and official fees are set by each government office, not by us. What you read here is general information, not advice about your situation, and it may be out of date or incomplete. Always confirm the current position with us before acting on it. We may change, add or remove content at any time.
Hal is our AI. Hal is an artificial intelligence program, not a person. It gives summaries and public information only. It never gives legal advice, never interprets the law for your case, and nothing it says is a promise, a quote or a commitment from Brealant. If you need help with your matter, ask to speak with a member of our team.
AI can make mistakes. Artificial intelligence is a new and fast-changing technology. AI systems sometimes produce answers that are wrong, out of date or invented, even when they sound confident. We use AI to help draft and translate parts of this Website, to answer questions through Hal, and to help our staff prepare work. Our staff check the work we file for you, but we cannot check every AI answer given on the Website. Do not rely on an AI answer without confirming it with us. To the fullest extent the law allows, Brealant is not responsible for any loss arising from an error in AI-generated content on this Website or in the answers of Hal, our AI.
Using Hal. You must be at least 18 to use Hal. Do not enter anything you would not put in an email to us, and do not enter highly sensitive information (such as health, financial or government identification details), information about anyone under 18, or information covered by legal privilege. Do not use Hal to produce content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, misleading or that infringes anyone's rights. What you type to Hal is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
You may read and print pages for your own use. You may not copy, republish, scrape or sell the content, use the Website to send spam, attack or overload it, or pass yourself off as someone else. We may refuse or end access to the Website to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
The text, images, design and software of the Website belong to Brealant or its licensors. Brealant and the Brealant logo are trade marks of Brealant Limited. Government office names and logos belong to those offices.
The Website links to government intellectual property offices and other websites, and has buttons to contact or follow us through services run by other companies, such as WhatsApp and Messenger (Meta), WeChat (Tencent), LinkedIn and YouTube. These links are for your convenience. We do not control those websites and services, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, their terms or how they handle your data.
The Website, its content and Hal are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty that the Website will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Brealant is not liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss, including lost profit, lost business or lost opportunity, arising from your use of the Website or Hal. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Our liability for services you buy is set out in our Terms of Service.
The Website and our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may change these terms from time to time by publishing a new version on the Website. The effective date at the top shows when they were last changed. Your continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the new terms.
Apart from a new published version, these terms can be amended only in writing, by an email sent from sales@brealant.com that expressly states that it amends them. No verbal statement by anyone at Brealant or acting for Brealant, no message in chat or any other channel, no statement by Hal, our AI, and no email from a member of our staff that appears to conflict with these terms amends them. Where a staff email and these terms conflict, these terms prevail.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
